You fly in tandem with an experienced pilot, so you do not need to know how to paraglide yourself. Depending on the flight selected and operating conditions, take-off is from the hills around Baliman Dara or Bulbuley Dara, followed by a flight above the valleys and settlements surrounding Gangtok.

Activities Plan
Guests report to the confirmed paragliding meeting point in the Ranka/Reshithang area or another location specified by the operating partner. Your booking confirmation should always mention the final reporting point because this can differ according to the operator and flight being conducted.
Depending on the selected flight, guests are taken or directed to the operational take-off location. For the established Gangtok flights, the principal recognised sites include Baliman Dara and Bulbuley Dara.

The passenger flies together with the tandem pilot. Once airborne, the pilot controls the paraglider while the passenger enjoys the flight. Actual airtime depends on the selected flight category, wind, thermal activity and operating conditions.
